Who Bejeweled the Red Carpet at the Oscars

Well last night was the big night, did your world stop if not for just a few hours so that you can vicariously live through the lives of the glamorous and gorgeous? Well out twitterverse did and we loved and hated as the stars floated across the 85th Annual Academy Awards red carpet.  Many are waiting to hear who's wearing Gucci,  Armani PrivĂ© or Alexander McQueen, but we're waiting to hear who's wearing Neil Lane, Fred Leighton, Harry Winston and Lorraine Schwartz.  And of course they all were well represented last night.

Charlize Theron, who was my "Best Dressed" of the evening looked just flawless in her 100 caret diamond bracelets and classic Emerald cut diamond studs by Harry Winston. (Getty Image)

If you follow my blog you know that there are a few who do no wrong in my eyes and Hallie Berry is on of them.  She walked on that stage for the James Bond tribute, in earrings by Adler, a stunning LeVian ring, and Versace gown that glittered in the light, what an entrance!  (Getty Image)

To me Jessica Chastain has been stepping up her game and last night was the culmination.  Hair, make up, Armani PrivĂ© and the icing on the cake of course were the Harry Winston vintage earrings and bracelet. (Getty Image)

Kudos to the lovely Jennifer Hudson for bringing FIERCE to the red carpet last night.  She was a force to be reckoned with in her Roberto Cavalli Couture royal blue gown and more color in her earrings by Sutra. (Getty Image)

After watching hours of stars walk the red carpet "neck"ed, what a joy it was to see the Jennifer Garner arrive with her neck properly adorned.  This magnificent timeless Neil Lane 200 caret necklace was the perfect compliment to her plum Gucci gown. (Getty Image)

The "twitterverse" was all a buzz last night as we caught our first glimpse of the "Best Actress" winner Jennifer Lawrence.  The actress was in true princess form in her Dior Haute Couture gown but added a younger more edgy twist by draping a delicate 74-carats necklace by Chopard down her back.  I have no doubt that we will be seeing more of that trend in the months to come.
