Mila Kunis lands new role with Gemfields

London based Gemfields, one of the world's foremost colored gemstone producers, reveled it's first brand Ambassador.  Black Swan actress, Mila Kunis.

"I truly believe in Gemfields' mission of ethical mining, and I absolutely have fallen in love with the rarity, beauty and history of emeralds," says Kunis.

In the newest released advertisement, Kunis is dripping in a one of a kind emerald and ruby necklace that is a perfect collaboration of the Gemfields design partners, to include Faberge, whom they recently acquired.

July's FLAVOR of the MONTH

This months birth stone is one of the four precious stones, Ruby.  The name comes from the Latin word ruber which means red.  Natural, untreated rubies come in pinkish red to blood red, the richer the color and lack of thread like inclusions the more valuable.  You will find that most natural (untreated) rubies will have inclusions and this distinguishes them from synthetic or simulated (lab created) stones.  Now a days a lot of the rubies out there are heat treated to improve color and mend inclusions, so always ask your jeweler!
